The Belgian Army began trials for a new small wheeled recon vehicle, but quickly terminated them and sent the vehicles back to the manufacturers for revisions to meet the specifications. New trials are to begin in October. Two vehicles began the trials (the British 4x4 Scarab and the Dutch 4x4 Fennek) while a third (the German 4x4 Survivor) never started the trials.--Stephen V Cole
